One of four new tiger cubs at the Denver Zoo. The cubs were faux-attacking and play-fighting just like the martial arts actors in the fairytale movie.

Evidently, I'm receiving a lot of DNMC votes because the image does not conform to preconceived notions of "fairy-tale". At least, some people are limiting their thinking to Grimm Fairy Tales. Believe me, "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is not a true story. It is a fairy tale.

To the fairy tale buddies who harass and haunt nearly every one of my challenge entries, but rarely enter anything themselves, go pick on someone else!

Actually, I believe this movie is a fiction movie, not a fairy tale. There is a major difference. Nice zoo shot of tiger, though. I can see where you may have mis-understood the difference between the two, but nonetheless, it is a fictional story.

Fairy Tale:
1: a : a story (as for children) involving fantastic forces and beings (as fairies, wizards, and goblins) —called also fairy story b : a story in which improbable events lead to a happy ending
2: a made-up story usually designed to mislead

Fiction:
a : something invented by the imagination or feigned; specifically : an invented story b : fictitious literature (as novels or short stories) c : a work of fiction; especially : novel
2a : an assumption of a possibility as a fact irrespective of the question of its truth b : a useful illusion or pretense
3: the action of feigning or of creating with the imagination

Cute photo and good job with the even exposure in the obviously harsh lighting conditions. I'm not finding how this references a fairy tale (all my google searches just come up with the movie)
