Greetings from the Critique Club :-)

Lol....I knew when I joined the critique club I would run into some more artistic takes on challenges. But for my first from the King of artistic out of the DPC box members, It had to be you.....Lol.

My personal take: I gave the image a 4. To be honest when voting I did take a double look at the image before moving on for some reason. I just don't see where the image is going. Technical aspects are good, the texture of the sand is cool. The conversation to B&W is very good. A couple of years ago I probably would've given this a 1 or 2. I guess in some ways you and other members that show us another side of photography is sinking in a little.....Thanks

Yikes. I have a shot almost exactly like this. That in itself is scary! I can't remember whose foot it is, though. My shot, not yours.

My top pick. Tactile, anatomical, gritty. All the good things are here. Thanks.

Oh my goodness. It took my eyes a minute to focus and figure out what the heck that blob was. This is so wonderful. I"m so there. I can feel the sand oozing between my toes. Everywhere I look there are goodies to enjoy - the foam, the streaks in the sand, the sun on the sand, and a pinky to tantalize us. Fabulous.
