A cat at the shelter. We are so overloaded that they are keeping cats in small dog cages in the non-public dog areas of the shelter, which weirds out many of the cats when there are also dogs back there. So this guy was hiding in a small crate provided for that purpose, and we were in the midst of trying to coax him out for a decent picture when he did this head shake just as I snapped. Kind of amused me the way it came out.

I did get a decent shot of him a minute or so later. Now we just need a lot of adopters to show up!

Perfect angle, timing, and shutter speed got this one. Color free makes it even better.

Sometimes shaking is good. Actually like the affect.

"......And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning 'round.
Ooh,
Round and round and round"

Fantastic shot!

AWWWWWW I love those gray "rug kitties." That dense thick fur is wonderful and the amusing motion blur almost makes him seem monstrous. LOL

What an amazing shot! I like how the face is still fully visible. The sense of motion is so strong...now my head is spinning :)

I really like this a lot. The eyes are still almost sharp and the shape of his face still remains. Yet with the shake of his head, a mystery about him remains.

Awesome shot. The shake almost enlarges the eyes and gives them a human look.. Damn I like this one!!!

The shaking capture almost makes him look a little devilish. I love the charcoal coat (I like charcoal cats) and how it fades into the darkness of the background. Nicely lit and captured.
