i wont be home when this rolls over & considering the incredible competition i’m really stoked that its doing so well .. i’m getting 6.6 at the moment .. but when i looked thru the challenge there were so many images that took my breath away .. this is pretty ordinary in comparison .. if i get on the first page i’ll be amazed & very very happy ..
i decided to use ‘dreamscape’ as a background coz it had the sort'v feel i was wanting ..

it’s a digital art piece i’d created from my own photographs so its all my own work and when i decided to use it i put it in my workshop folder during the challenge voting .. i printed dreamscape off in four A4 pieces and joined them together with sticky tape .. i put it on our piano and placed the skull and dragon on it .. burned some incense in the skull so the smoke came out of the eye sockets.

then i took some pics of my niece rosannah .. but because we were having so much fun and laughing a lot it was very hard for her to look frightened .. i put her eyes in the skull and her face around the place .. did a bit’v flood filter so the skull etc was reflected ..

Going to go back to my above and below challenge commenting: Hello neighbor!:-) Congrats on the top 10 placement.

I like how the 'nightmare' radiates out from the person/sleeper. Her silent scream is heard as we get to see the imagery that haunts her...and that skull with the eyes in it very definately FREAKY! Good choice with the sepia/B&W tones for a color version would have made it far too busy to absorb. Here the vision/all parts of the composition is easy to take in and appreciate. Great job on the reflections too!
