 I only like this photo somewhat. I'm guessing that DPC voters will feel the same way, and this will end up at a low 5 at best. But I do like how I ended up processing it, so there is that.

I don't really remember many of my dreams, so it was pretty tough to think of something that would really work well for this challenge. I know I have had various chasing dreams, and I guess at least one would have been through the woods.

This is taken just off the one of the paths in the UW Arboretum on a rainy fall day. I was expecting to mix the fall colors with the dreariness of the weather to form a somewhat interesting mood. Unfortunately, the lighting wasn't as dramatic as I had envision in my head. So I used various post processing techniques to make it a bit more dramatic.

Post Processing:
* Topaz adjust to bring out more details and colors
* Crop
* Increased exposure
* Decreased black point
* Increased brightness
* Increase highlights and shadows
* Edge Sharpen
* Vignetting
* Dodge me to make me stand out a bit more
* Burn along the top and bottom to increase vignetting effect
* Blur around the outsides to give it a more dreamy effect
* Export for web

Everything is much too still for this to be a picture of a dream in which you were being chased! I wanna see some blur! Cue the wind and the running! : )

COOL. I think a red jacket would have made the person stand out more, but I still like it very much. The tiny hints of red leaves at the top add a nice touch. :) 7
