I have to agree that this overlay works pretty well here. It adds to what would be a fairly boring window ledge and blinds. For me it feels like early morning. When you wake in the early morning the light is fantastic, and often times you can see the trees or bushes outside the window dancing against the closed blinds. Then you have a freshly woken and still somewhat groggy kitty sitting on the ledge watching those shadows dance.

...Then you jump up, grab kitty, and snuggle back under the warm covers for another hour... or two.

I like how you have kept pretty much the same colors all though the image, and still manage to keep the focus on that lovely kitty!

This overlay really works with this photo. And I am sure improves it greatly. Instead of a cat in front of some vertical blinds, now you are able to focus just on the cat and the overlay provides a much more pleasing background.

I feel like I give out copy paste sort of comments, but it's so hard to say anything other than superlatives. This is another image where the overlay really works well. I definitely think the secret is know when it works and when it doesn't. I think I reject more than I post.

The monochrome really adds an ethereal quality.
