snow texture

The texture was too blue, so I desaturated it quite a bit before doing the overlay.

Used "color dodge" for the blending mode.

what a wonderful texture - love the effect it gives here, made me think of stars though not snowflakes so much

it does look like fireflies especially if you took it here in Florida (which I know you didn't) kind of cool

I really like this one, better than the other one. There a "fairy" atmosphere to this one. The fireflies title is very fitting and that snow texture works very well. Great job!

This is very cool. It looks almost like the Egret in the BG is floating off into a sea of stars. The white spots against the blue water could easily be snow.
