Wow. I love your wedding shots. I need to make some wedding sample books. Could I have your permission to use couple of your photo's? I would put you rname on them of course. I am making up a couple of sample books to display the hardbound coffee table books I sell, and need some wedding books for wedding shows.

I love the second place you just got--congrats!!

my website is //www.tellthatstory.com. I give everyone from DPChallenge a free account. CHeck it out--I would be using your pictures in a designer 8x8, photo journals, or a designer 12x12.

Sincerely,

Chinpaca ( Kathy G)

Pure Poetry!
Thank you for the privilege of participating in a community of such World-Class Artists! At times I feel like a preschooler among PHDs, but I don't let that discourage me.
The way I figure it, if you stand close enough to an artist, you'll get some paint on your sleeve!
Thanks for the sepia-colored mark!...I'll never wash this shirt again!!!

EXCELLENT IMAGE!! So much emotion and love! I hope I get a shot like this from my wedding by 'ace flyman' (no pressure joe...lol).

A well deserved kudo on the lense selection and composition.

Wow! Awesome shot, I can´t believe I haven´t seen it before. The best wedding shot I have ever seen and makes me wish you had photographed my wedding 3 years ago. I obviously didn´t vote on this one since I hadn´t discovered this site at this time but I would have given it a 10.

Superb photo! Great example of when NOT to apply the rules! The sense of unreality and surrealism is what give it it's edge as well its great composition and creative imagination. Love it!!

This is an exceptional study of a couple kissing. The position of the couple add the tension of the balance. The lens selection, the water and the sky textures brings the image closer and closer to one of those timeless image of romance. The decision to go to sepia was very wise because this is more a study in tones than one of color.
Most arresting are the models. His curved stoop, her arched back and the flowers in front all with a touch of silhoutte. A stroke of genius.

I submitted this in color originally...but decided the duotone was even quirckier. Being that the sun was directly above the bride and groom...their faces were rather dark and shadowy. First off....had to remove sensor dust..and boy is it bad. I made a layer of the original image and intensified the contrast...then erased to reveal the original levels of the bride and groom. So much contrast would have completely blown out her dress. I then played with the levels on the original ...to lighten the bride and groom. Played with levels on the layer to increase darkness and contrast. I erased a bit around the water to reveal the original and make for a darker sky. Flattened the layers...dodged a bit of his face and added a vignette around the image. Border. Duotone and more playing with levels and contrast to bring out the detail of the boardwalk. All in all..maybe spent 10 to 15 minutes on it...if that.

Quriky and well composed -- like the clouds in the background and the fish-eye effect on the boardwalk. One of my ribbon picks

Very "Gone with the Wind" poster-ish. I dig it. The panoramic feel lends an epic quality to something that should definetely be taken much more seriously by people than it is.

Well done! Great DOF and contrast.

I think what could solve the feeling of the image being slightly unnatural is using a straight b&w instead of a sepia tone. I love the artistry of this image, and the spectacular background you managed to capture it on, but in an image such as this believability is a must, and I have trouble visualizing this in real life. 8

Burn much? Still amazing. The fisheye effect makes this one stand out amongst the trendiness of recent popular over-post production.

Wow! Very striking - the curve of the decking and then the straight line of the water and the rich cloud detail and the texture and of course the fun pose and then the wonderful OTT high contrast treatment. I think this is superb!

Fun shot, and great work with the dodge stick on this, I am in awe of what you got out of this difficult lighting situation. I would have never thought you could get anything at all from this lighting, let alone anything this special. Thanks for showing me that I was wrong. Rich details everywhere ( except ther dress, but at least you got it white) This one should be the best of the album.

Very powerful image....looks almost like a screen set and could imagine it as a poster for a forthcoming film.
The "dodge and burn" style is familiar and I have a wee idea where this was "produced".
Can`t wait to see if I`m right. :)
Excellent work...sure to do well.

Great photo, this one is going on their wall. Fishey lens gives the shot a very nice surreal feel, and the sepia job is great (overall PS work is superb here). Composition, models, background all super. I would think this one gets a ribbon, congrats.

Beautiful! I love the wide angle look of this shot and the tones are awesome. This photo has alot of impact and is quite a switch from the soft, delicate photos you usually see in wedding photography. I also like the theme of the photo very much, because what a balancing act marriage is. Very cool!

A real WOWSER! Who would ever think about using a fish-eye for a wedding shot!!? This is a perfect example of when the "rules do not work' - the horizon is dead center (and it is PERFECT), the couple is dead center (and it is PERFECT.) Great job.
