 Blowing snow in Odessa Gorge on November 30, 2010.

I do use Ansel Adams' Zone system. 0 through 9, with almost no pixels in 0 or 9. This was converted from color to b&w in Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro. I plan to do quite a lot of b&w photography this winter, with emphasis on tonal range and interesting light.

So the hazy, low contrast bottom left is from blowing snow? Fascinating capture of nature.
