Bolshevik? No, don't think so (I know Russian bolsheviks, believe me). More like a Russian "kupets" (businessman) circa 1900s. Excellent image (but begs an oval frame :))

Nice work. I do know that the majority of "old time" subjects were told to look into space most of the time. But this pose seems to work good although it seems the subject is leaning backward in an awkward manner. The processing rocks, love the intentional OOF and the grain. Great work. 7
