As we move into the wireless world, the payphone would become obsolete and an alien to the coming generation. Check out my other photos in my own photo site.

very nice POV. I like the processing too. A lifeline going nowhere quickly.

One of my top three - great umbilical view, excellent perspective.

First one in the queue that had an interesting perspective. Good job. Bringing all the focus onto the cord is an interesting choice that I like.

Great creative angle, I really like the texture of the cord and the snake like quality it suggests.

Perhaps my favorite image in the challenge... I love the heavy hitting styling here, and the very unique perspective - kinda reminds me of looking at payphones as a child.

Great eye, and a wonderful capture!

Nail on the head here. Awesome perspective, with the focus on what makes this so special: the cord. Well done. Also love the black and white. Depth is perfect, and the cord jumps off from the rest of the phone. Probably my favorite. Will come back to confirm. For now, 9

My pick for a ribbon. Nice to see a different perspective. The black and white works really well for this subject. The depth of field and grain are also spot on.

Like the outside of the box composition of this shot. Has an abstract feel, yet still identifiable.
