 Taken with a graduated ND filter and a dollop of courage sitting on the edge with vertigo kicking in full blast.

Sincerely appreciate this pic being chosen as favorite by a few (during voting even!).

I still remember the wind howling in my ears then. I was on all fours and holding the tripod over the edge with one hand - waited almost 15 minutes for the boat to cover the entire curve taking several pictures while managing the vertigo. Was worth it for a good finish in the free study :)

Wow your wide angle lens is perfect for horseshoe bend. Great job! I used Canon 20D with 17mm and could not capture the whole view.

I experience vertigo watching people getting that close to the edge. I can only get as close as 20 feet away from the edge!

ah, I got such heebie-jeebies shooting at this spot. Talk about a latent fear of heights. I had to crawl up to the edge. :) Nice clouds for the shot.

One of the most amazing places on Earth, as far as I'm concerned! I was definitely glad to have a 10-20mm lens when I was there... I'm sure you had to have used something similar.

What a fantastic location! I like the processing that has brought out such great colours and dramatic skies although it is bordering on being overdone IMO. The boat is a nice addition that gives a good feeling of the size of this area. I’m looking forward to finding out where this place is.
