 taken whilst walking the dog. the wife says this one will seize the hearts of the dpc voters and score vengeance will be mine at last.

how do I let myself get talked into these things?

a touch of topaz abstraction, a slight crop off the top. contrast bumped with curves. that's about it.

He's lecturing at the conference... :)

abstraction is one of the settings for the Topaz Detail 2 plug-in. I just used a little to give it a soft glow.

I love the sharp contrast of the jet black silhouetted trees. Nice composition with them lined up on the left, and single to the right. Interesting.
