So cute ! What a lovely pose !
During all the lifetime it's what parents try to do , protect their children , be there when they need us.Very emotive !

I think this is very cute. I like the contrast between the paleness of her skin and the darkness of his skin and clothes, it beautifully accentuates her fragility as a young child.
I think this could be improved even more by some kind of interaction between her and her father, maybe having them look at each other. Even having her look up at him and still not see his face would improve.
