Ben, I just noticed this one. Fabulous image, as has already been pointed out. I love the moodiness of this image. Proof, yet again, that sharpness and resolution are not the be all end all.

I inspired you all the way to two peer recognitions (!). Good for you. It's a beautiful image.

Lots more you can do with tinfoil. Stay tuned...

A soul in bits? For some reason this is redolent of the '50s for me - I really can't say why. The selenium tone, the fractured young woman with the perfect profile, I'm not sure. But it speaks volumes.

Very creative. I gave it a 7, though I did expect it to get slammed in the popular vote. It's clear however, that this found a smaller but appreciative audience.

Awesome - I'm glad you got some red bling. I really thought that two parts fit the description of pieces to me. Very nice.

excellent take on the challenge, a gentle self-consciousness... or is it an escape from self-consciousness into some lighter self?

I think this meets the challenge less than mine but I must admit I love it

Not quite sure how it meets the challenge, but I really like its softness...

I'm intrigued by this shot. The soft, blurred focus and artistic value to this shot is beautiful. I'm wrestling with the bits and pieces part of this for this challenge and having to look deeper to find it which intrigues me even more. 8

I think the blur is overdone on this image.

I hope people stop and figure this out... if they do, they'll see it's perfect for the topic. (not voting)
