In response to the "rant" comment, we are not required to strip any exif data from our submission files. There is no rule violation here. ( I checked with the administration.)

No Topaz on this image. Actually, to my eye, this is exactly the way the hotel lobby looks. I think this is very realistic.

I marked whiterook's comment as helpful. I think he was just having a bad day. I don't think he liked my image! I do wish he'd just really say what he thinks and not hold back and be so meek.

For the record i voted a 7, the fact I knew who it was on first sight or confirmed it had no bearing. I just like to poke people with a stick when i recognize something. Recently went back and looked saw at least one shot i recognized a girls face.

Actually a pretty good shot. If only we could use a bigger size.

Odd comment about the EXIF; I think many photographers strip it to save on file size.

For DPC, I always use "Save for web..." That does strip out most exif data. But, on some images, the embedded copyright data is sticky. This is not a rules violation. It's a copyright protection. One has to circumnavigate the protective measures put in place by DPC administration to find the deeply embedded copyright.

A little heavy handed on the Topaz / HDR for me. Looks like a comfy place.

Excellent use of HDR, really brings out the charater of this old place. Nice choice for your free study, must be hard to pick when you have so many great ones to choose from this month.
