 This is a super-oldy, taken back in 2004 with my trusty Digital Rebel (300d). I wore out the shutter on that one and had it replaced before I got a 30d. I saved the money I made from the 30d to buy lenses and the 5dmkii. The 300d finally gave up the ghost... but it was well-used and well-loved. I passed the 30d on to my oldest son and he is having fun with it...

This was one of those foggy, snowy, misty sort of days - not too terribly cold, but just cold enough... I tried some different processing on this...

I'm glad I still had the image to remember the day.

I like the way the ground merges into the sky - they look like big chess pieces or perhaps eldelry ladies waiting to be greeted

Love it. The little group of trees is so isolated, but it looks calm and peaceful. It could be a greetings card.
