The rose has a timeless beauty.

(I will never know the true age of the rose because it was purchase from an estate sale), but I think the concept is there.

Two lights were used. A beauty dish for main light and background. I don't think the background was necessary but it did separate my subject from the background.

Good picture. For me, this is a large stretch for this challenge because the purple streaks back from the eyes show a very short time span of popularity, rather than an enduring look of classic beauty.

I Have to admit, the beautiful eyes of the model caught my eye more than the rose.Beautiful color

Nice portrait. The tones are well tied together and the processing is excellent. Very nice how the sharpness smoothes out by the time we get to her collarbone. Keeps your focus on her eyes and the rose. I'd wager, however, that most voters will not be able to make the connection with the challenge theme. Not voting, just commenting.

Not getting it. Is the dried flower 100 years old? I'll have to give the benefit of the doubt on this one, even though the connection is not totally clear to me.

How does this represent 100 years?

Lovely shot and model.... neither of the items in your shot are at least 100 years old though (unless you're talking at a subatomic level) so I'm knocking points off for my perceived DNMC.

This is a real stretch.
