Cell phone shot through my dash window on a snowy afternoon. Bring on the sucky score. I still dig it.

[Feb. 6th, 2011 11:58:23 PM]

Stunned that this is scoring a 6.4 just before the last day. And to garner a posthumous ribbon to boot. Whooh hooh!!! Just got to get me a blue. ;)

That's tremendous - if it wasn't a cellphone shot I could imagine it turned into a huge canvas . .

There is a glow about this image that defies winter blahs. Congrats on your bling Tim. This is magical.

Cell phone, really? I guess that's a tribute to your eye (as well as to Motorola), to see this and recognize how good it is.

I rarely give 10's and this one surely deserved the one it got. Just amazing. Isn't it terrific what our cell phones can capture?

The distortion of the image from the windshield is nice, it adds to the atmosphere, the feeling of drear, the city ennui. Sitting in the car, away from it but never escaping. Nice.

Such a warm image for a cold scene.

This was one of my favorites in the challenge. I really like the way the buildings in the distance disappear in the snow, and I love the processing and the colors.

I gotta get my phone out more often. This scored well with me. Great wintery feel from the warmth of inside the car. Nice!

Like the anonymity of the lone silhouetted walker. He is all of us, or any of us.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Tons of stuff to like here; the slice of life offered up, the through-the-windscreen POV that involves the photographer in the shot, the wonderful coloration (I'm really enjoying the red and green accents) and the overall richness of capturing the day / moment.

Critical stuff: The slight 'crunchiness' of the trees at the left of the image draws my slightly from other more interesting parts of the frame.

Overall: A highly immersive shot that I have enjoyed immensely.

This is fantastic. I love the two red lights, with the rest being neutral. The vertical P A R K is perfectly placed. This is my fav so far.
