 Driving back to Lahaina on the last afternoon of our New Year's trip, a rainbow magically appeared out of the mist, I hit my brakes, found a spot on the narrow shoulder, and pulled out my gear to take a few snaps. 15 minutes later, there were probably 20 cars pulled alongside the road behind me, doing the same thing.

Background light was flat and there was a barbed wire fence in the way of the foreground scene, so I went soft and dark (again!) with my processing, and used a tele rather than a wide shot to try to do something a little different from the standard rainbow shot. First submission around here in a while ... not expecting much, but we shall see.
