 I wasn't going to enter this challenge, I didn't have any ideas and there are no cool bridges or architecture here. I went to Cape Spear to take pics for my blog and as I was walking up the steps to the lighthouse I realized it made a perfect leading line. Of course then I took pics with the challenge in mind but was kicking myself for not bringing my wide-angle lens with me.
Very happy with the results!

This is so beautiful! I'm happy it got rewarded with a top 10, but I can't for the life of me figure out how anyone could have scored this lower than an 8 -- so the 6.44 seems very underrated to me for a photo this striking.

Lovely shot! Think a tighter crop on the right hand side would've worked wonders, though. I held a piece of paper up to my screen and covered the building on the right, and it looks much nicer. Cover both buildings to the right still works, and places the lighthouse smack bang on a rule of thirds intersect.

Anyway, great photo -- 7 from me!

Well composed - one of the better shots in the challenge. This is about seeing the line that drives our view instead of photographing a series of lines

If I had to be picky I'd say it could maybe do with a little more contrast. But a very nice image all the same.
