 Good old drinking straws can work great! You know the kind with the red stripe. I ended up cutting a hole, in a small coffee cup. Then Jammed the straws in the hole. I put enough in to have a tight fit. I then put a piece of large glass, on two chairs. This made a sort of bridge. The cup and straws were placed on the glass. Camera was on a tripod, with the room lights off. LED finger lights were used, to light the scene. These were held under the glass, shooting through the straws. It is amazing the variations I produced, of this image. This being my favourite of course. Either way, It was fun playing in the dark!
