 Thought this was an unusual challenge, but the B&W is what drew me in. I am in a black and white quest. There is something about black and white that just speaks to me. I am learning how to edit them too. The real subtle tones are so important, but so are the major contrasty images. Shot this with my Leica Summilux 1,4 50mm lens that I just received in the mail today! Already in love with it only after about 150 shots. Although I like the image and the exposure turned out acceptable, I wish I could have done a little detail editing around the boots to bring out the texture just a bit more. I really have had these boots 10 years, had them resoled twice and they are still going, Great Italian leather. (:

Looks like an ad for the shoes! Nice sense of expectancy - ready for the next climb just over the horizon. Very good B&W work, too.
