The spotlights and windows vie for attention, My eyes can't decide which is to be the focus. Totally and marvelously confusing.

This was one of my highest votes. I love the lighting and composition. Well deserving of the Posthumous!

I can't resist this assortment of windows and spotlights... like a hundred stories being told a hundred ways, all at once. Delirious.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Beautiful, distortion-free, well-toned image with extraordinary light. This is one of those images that are more than the sum of their parts. I like how each of the windows offers something similar but with variety - like a box of chocolates. Where does that pattern of light come from? Reflected sunlight from a building behind the camera lens?

Critical stuff: Nothing really

Overall: This has great appeal, it would make an excellent wall poster.

Fantastic! So well spotted. Superb composition. The play of modern-building reflected light off this older structure is really a nice theme. So random yet so evenly distributed. A patchwork of urban exposure. Awesome stuff.

Back to add it as a favorite. I love this photo.

Love the pattern of the windows and air conditioning units/vents. I also really like the the toning and contrast overall.

Curious as to what's causing the highlights and shadows being cast on the building. Perhaps Sun reflecting off the windows of the adjacent building? Nicely done...a cool abstract...8

Nice idea. Wish there was a focus point with someone or something in a window.

Looks like NY to me, on a two way traffic street on the Upper West Side, to be precise. Am I talking nonsense? A beautiful picture. (Did you try less contrast?)

Brilliant, gives a sense of the scale of it all & how insignificant we are.

That's awesome! It's like a bunch of misguided spotlights teasing you with what's in each of the windows. I can't tell if they were moving when you took it, but I imagine the reflections dancing on the side of the building. And then there's the height of the building. I'm from a decent sized city, but we don't generally have buildings that tall. There's so many little windows to check out.
