 Simple stock shot. I would have preferred to hang out at a coffee shop and take some candids, but time is tight. Aimee bought me an espresso machine for Christmas and I use it regularly. The coffee beans are from my mission trip to Nicaragua last summer. Made a fresh espresso for this shot and set it up in my studio. The spoon is ugly. Probably should have taken the time to change that out. Would have preferred advanced edit to smooth out the blacks int he image to be more consistent across the floor of beans. Nothing exciting about the shot, but I have been wanting to enter challenges more lately. Got to try and stay ahead of Oliver as well. ;)

Going into the last day of voting with a 6.86. Fingers crossed that this will ribbon. If it does it will give me three weeks in a row to ribbon in the open challenges.

This is basically nearly precisely what I wanted to do when I saw the challenge. Unfortunately I didn't have beans. Nor did I have the inclination to go out and get stuff to produce this image.
