I love majestic landscapes. Mountains are my favorite. I think DPC loves them too. But I don't know how much of that love this image will get! :)

I just realized I won't get PH for this. Sorry to disappoint!

Few comments about sunset colors. Maybe this was not the best idea. The photo was taken in mid morning but I added some red and orange in PP. Not very successfully. The score is under 6.2

Oh how I love this photo. We go on a snowshoe hike ever year, and we missed it this year because we had the flu, so this photo makes me ache to be out on the snowy mountains. The sky and light are stunning!

Great landscape but the snow looks purple?

One of the few reasons I'd even consider going out in this sort of climate is to see these views. You've saved me the trouble :-) (not voting)

Actually, pretty amazing image. On my monitor, the image appears to have a magenta cast on the lower half. The sky and distant mountains are neutral to slightly warm. It's a tough angle to the sun you have chosen. The detail is great. I think this could be reprocessed to much better advantage.

Hmm.
To me this image isn't about the sunset, as per the title. It's about the mountains and the skiers. There isn't enough sky for it to be about the sunset.
Nice image, all the same. I figure most people won't care about what I mentioned above. It does make me wish I was skiing!

Coming back to this cause I didn't explain it well and one might justifiably take issue with it...
You do say sunset colours (suggesting the shot isn't about the sunset at all). The mountains don't seem to be in sunset colours to me. Just the clouds. Was there more of a sky the warmer tones would justify the title to me.
It's probably just me, though, cause I'm a little particular about titles.

Wow, this is a heck of a vantage point. Nicely done. Well exposed with nothing blown out; nice tonal range. Great photo.

Is this perhaps a Marnet image? Such a wonderful composition, love how the skiers form a leading line through the bottom of the picture, and encompassing it all is the mountain in the background, giving everything a great sense of perspective. Top 10 for me.

The breathtaking landscape was enough to make this image a great one, the skiers make this image go over the top for me. Excellent work, should be a winner.
