Challenge: What DPC Loves the Most (Advanced Editing VII)

Yeah... basically uninspired this week... I mean WHO knows what DPC loves the Most?!?

Regardless, I was determined... although the day before Rollover. I found this bit of dappled light on a holly bush in our yard in early afternoon. Bees were coming and going... yellow jackets... red wasps... some gnat-looking things...

But, they were all so... well... so flighty. :)

I probably took 500 shots to get this one. I hope it will get me a 6+, but they're so hard to come by these days.

I know Roz could have done it. She's my hero.

Very nice work with the 100mm. I've never gotten this close to this type of live bee before and kept the shot in focus. Cheers to that 6+! :)

Cool! Did you use an extension tube? I can't get nearly that close with my 100 mm.

I think I need to push my chair back a few feet; this bee is seriously invading my space!
