Extreme SuperMoon. Shot through thin haze cloud cover. Single image.

This image would easily pass Advanced Editing validation. Did not need Expert editing.

A pre-vote comment on the silver moon. There was zero color adjustment or desat to the moon in my image. At high altitude, we have no humidity or pollution to cause long wavelength light to prevail. The orange/yellow/red colors seen in moons at sea level are due to light passing through a lot more atmosphere, humidity and pollution.... allowing mostly long wavelength light to reach the viewers' eyes.

Exceptional shot, Richard. I see I gave you a 9 but left no comment. At the time I wouldn't have realized it was a straight shot, being in a challenge full of manipulation.
It's interesting to read your notes about altitude and colour. I live at 1525 feet above sea level and the moon is usually fairly silver. Occasionally though it rises very yellow - it must depend on whatever is going on in the atmosphere.
