nice tribute shot - the crop seems way too tight on the sides and the interior of the shepp seems a bit lost

This is probably the best of the shells in this challenge, but it still leaves me wanting. The lighting is ok, but it doesn't reach Weston's level, where the shell looked absolutely silky and luminous, almost as if the light was emanating from it. It might have helped to dodge the highlights down the middle of the shell (I've heard that's how Weston did it).

Nice. Something I miss from Weston's originals is the in focus inside of the shell. I think something that makes his nautilus shots great is the shell's milkiness inside sharply in focus.

Seriously you used Weston's own shell? I looked for ever and didn't find one shaped like this... Jealous but excellent work!
