A Fine Arts Exhibit 2 candidate to articulate with my Exhibit 1 work.

I ended up going with something completely different.

This shot was completely the model's idea - Vicci wanted a shot in the bath with the gas mask on. I mean, what's a photographer to do?

I know people will be hitting me with their 1s but I like the image so here it is.

Post challenge: I'm surprised that this did as well as this. Even more surprised that nudity got on the front page in a non-nude challenge. Even more surprised that it didn't receive any 1s. Thanks!

From now on I'm going to have to accept that if I get 1s with a nude shot it's because it's crap!

A version of this image got published on 1x.com too. I've been trying to get an image that ribbons here and published there for ages!

Totally Cool. A very unique concept and unusual idea. It works and my opinion, it should have made it to #1.

I'd like it better without the mask for Black and white. A clean... clear... BW shot... nothing... err... 'weird'.

But, then again, I might be weird. *sigh*

Beautifully made statement of Eco-Revolution cleansing, reminiscent, or in a tradition from the French Revolution

Just scrolling through for a third or fourth time and realise I can't drive by without leaving a note of appreciation. One of my top picks in this challenge. Quirky and works well in B&W.

Beautiful photograph though I think the gas mask is a Bridge Too Far, in spite of the titular statement of your intent. Yes I do 'get it', but for me it detracts from the purity of what you had here. Remember though, I am pretty old, so I saw all this jarring juxtaposition stuff 40-odd years ago. But back in those days it very often covered up a lack of substance and skill. Whereas you have plenty of both. Nevertheless, it's your picture & not mine, and it's still very good indeed. 8. Thank you.

Maybe seen that mask b4 ;) like the slight sepia toning, good use of a hard lighting situation esp to tone up the body, maybe u put a light in there. Not a big fan of the masks myself, I would have used the real face but that's me. Good framing, though a tad more space on the right side would be good. Thanks for the effort, appreciated.

I would have saved this for fine art. It has that weird slant that would fit there, and here im afraid it will pick up some anti nude scores. Its my pick for blue with a 10. the composition and mix of texture are just great.

Very nice concept. Perhaps the bath is a bit "underlit" thhus making it look too dark but all in all a good thought provoking subject

wonderfully done, her knee is in the just the right spot, the natural lighting from the window suits the mood to perfection, its considerably more artistic with the gas mask, but it would i imagine also be very good without. In my humble opinion this should be sitting somewhere near the top at the end of this challenge.
