yes it is still along the same horizon. water levels out with the horizon. therefore if the water is tilted then so would the horizon. its an effect.

next time ill put up a pretty flower so some here won't have to think too much.

This shot was a pain in the neck. I had to search different stores to find three wine glasses. Found three plastic ones then I bought food coloring. However, it was the wrong kind apparently, it was jelled. I watered it down and got it to work because I wanted to do drops instead. It didn't work at all so I went with the whole glass being colored.

Then I had to set up a wrinkled sheet for a backdrop and worked with my strobe to get the lighting the best I could. Then I was also low on resources that would allow me to tilt the glasses. I jury rigged it on an old rotted piece of wood. That took forever and spilled water twice on my 7d. Final got it to go right and I took the shot.

Then I took the water drops out and fixed the background and then added a vignette. I also straightened the the shot and then cropped.

All that to have a shot that will probable do poorly because it doesn't have an actual horizon. Whatever, I don't care.

Great photograph, but I do not believe this would be considered a horizon?! It is tilted so and the colors are great, so is the whole shot...7

While it is likely that the surface these glasses are seated is tilted the apparent horizon line in the image is not. I just have a feeling you might get hammered a bit for this. The effect you were probably going for is apparent and creative and will make patient people stop and think about what is going on here.
