That's not my reflection in the bottle; it's just my tripod and camera (unavoidable), I used a remote to take the shot. What you see in the center ist the vase behind the bottle - if the flowers had been in the bottle it would have been out of focus.

That might be true, but would be a lot more work :)

Awesome image Oliver. Really like the background and the lighting on the flowers. Putting the flowers in a separate vase behind the bottle so that the flowers and the bottle are in the same plane was a great idea. Congrats on the yellow.

How incredibly funny: we each thought the other's would look good in b/w. Congrats on your well-earned HM.

lovely smooth coolness. I do with that band of light wasn't so hot in the reflection, but it was worth it to get those tones out of the lilies.

I know it's almost impossible to fix (trust me, I've tried) but you're reflection in the vase is distracting.

the vase for this is gorgeous, and the highlights in it are amazing. the background is a good contrast from some of the more monochromatic images in this challenge. The lilies are actually the least interesting part of this shot, and I wonder if they're even necessary.

Lovely, smooth, great color, ultra sharp! I do believe I can see you in the reflection however!

Very interesting shot. I like the soft tones in the flowers contrasted by the hard smoothness of the bottle.

Lovely colors... great processing...

couple of nitpicks... harsh highlight in the left bottom corner... and the reflection of the photographer on the bottle (which you could not have avoided or cloned with advanced editing)...

overall a great shot that deserves a place in the first page...
