I'm surprised there weren't more 7s and 8s. I guess we all respond to different things and the voters didn't appreciate the strong graphic elements and repetition. Well done.

Although you ended with a good score - this shot is absolutely underappreciated. Fantastic stuff and thanks for sharing!

I admire the graphic feel to this - a genuinely interesting pov and a so carefully considered composition. 8.

I really like the repetition of shape in the trees and the gap between branches.
A little more shadow detail (less contrast) would have worked better for me, but that's just one person's opinion...

I think you've demonstrated that a straight on perspective can be interesting. I like it a lot!

Nice Framing and location.

What a cool location.
interesting photo, but I would rather see more of the landscape than the dead tree. (Is this the unique P.O.V.?) 6

Marvelous image! I actually picture this in b/w.

This image really creates tension! I see that you have without a doubt chosen a different perspective. When I open the image the tree hits me smack in my face, and part of me wants to move it. Then there is a part of me that feels like I'm hiding behind the tree. Pretty good thinking.
