Very nice, Kris. The lighting on her face is very appealing, with the golden light on her hair and shadowed eyes, but still keeping excellent detail. The dark space behind her head also helps this effect immensely.
Only thing, for me, is the flowers right front- they do seem a bit obtrusive. Very nice, in any case though.

After looking at the White on Light thread, I'd say that some are going to HATE the bright parts of this photo !

Back again. This is my best pick for a non-landscape/cityscape shot in this challenge. You've done a great job here. I just don't know if DPC voters will put this in the top 10 though.

My pick for a ribbon (I scored one photo higher than yours so I guess that means you're my pick for the Red :-)

If I could change anything with this shot, I would like to see it with her legs dropped down out of sight so we just see her head and shoulders in the flowers. I'm not saying that would be better - just that it would be nice to be able to contrast and compare.

Maybe it's just me, but there's too much "softness" in this picture. I think the flowers in the front at the right hand side are very distracting.
Other than that, the model looks beautiful and the light is gorgeous.

A really beautiful image with wonderful colours. I especially like the shallow DoF and soft focus. But it’s the lighting that really makes this a pleasure to view. Well done and good luck!

I like the blur of the flowers. Did you use an Orton action to get that soft glow? It's nice. :)
