I'm pretty sure HCB never took a photograph of Johanna. I wish I had known. DNMC.

(Seven from me. Nice.)

I've given many 10s in this challenge, I guess these recreations of an artist's work appeal to me more than fridge shots :). But this one... thought it was clive_patric_nolan (which by itself is a big compliment), yet the lady was too familiar... don't blame Tanguera for the 10, it's a beautiful shot.

Thank you, Bear, for the credit :-) I'm delighted this/I did well for you. Shot with a NIKON I might add...

I did the same thing, overcompensated sharpen to get the film effect, which detracts for me around the eye and cheek in particular. A wonderful and delightful photo all the same, in context with the challenge, and gives a real sense of the moment 8

Great capture of the moment. I can almost hear the laughter, smell the wine left in the small glasses after a good bistro meal. I am rambling in appreciation.

Really like this shot a lot, perfect exposure and contrast for my taste. Love the smiling face and the addition of the chap holding his head just adds to the 'story'.

Makes you wonder what the joke was :)

The only thing nagging me here is that I think having the ladies head more off center would of made a better composition, overall though, I like this. Good job!

My yellow ribbon winner! Just fantastic. I want to be a part of that conversation. I bet these are a few trolls of DPC laughing at us ribbon chasers. :)

Absolutely fantastic shot, it has a great joyful feel to it. I think it has a more doisneau feel to it than bresson but none the less i like it a lot. 8
