Daphne turns into a tree to escape Apollo's lust.

I superimposed 14 images of leaves on overlay. Then I searched for shapes to bring out. I cut and paste shapes together. I dodged and burned. I found a man and a woman, Apollo and Daphne, whom I further emphasized by making them more saturated.

I liked this one. Specially the idea that the figures have substance only because of other real objects, and not by themselves.

A lovely image.
But as the story goes, I am not surprised that Apollo fell in love with irresistible Daphne, but he is supposed to be a real kuros, as beautiful and bright as sunlight and here he is a sort of unskillful, stocky and graceless man. Independently of the myth, I still mind the left figure (especially his left leg and hand). Should have melted in the foliage more.
Nevertheless, it is a first page picture.
