 I got up today at about 2:50 am and drove out to Banff to catch sunrise. I didn't get quite the nice oranges and purples I was hoping for but I still think this is pretty nice.

3 exposure HDR blended in Photomatix. Cropped (apparently I used my grad filter and didn't have it lined up properly) and I cloned out a small ugly black cloud. Exported the resulting tiff to PSP X2 where I resized, sharpened and exported to JPG for submission

All the blue makes it very cold which is neither good nor bad. I love the shape and reflection shown. Triangle = Strength.

Wow---that must have been an incredible moment to see that. The reflection's nice but do you think a close up up that distant mountain with the trees in the foreground might have yeilded less blue sky (less 'empty' space)?
