Not much to say about this one...

Last minute entry, done in a couple of hours. I like the idea, but there is much room for execution improvement: get nicer and identical nails, have the strings straightened, get a clean black surface, create a better compo, etc.

Thanks a lot for your kind votes and comments.

I hate to disagree with a master, but this image CANNOT be improved. Congrats on your ribbon, Christophe.

Love your work and admire your creativity. This shot just blows me away. Congrats on your ribbon. I also like the mismatched nails. Not all people are the same are they? the bent nails, are a great addition; those "beaten into former submission".

I actually think it best with mismatched nails.

Let me see if I understand this. The hammer represents your free time and the nails are the challenges? :P

Glad someone explained this as I thought it was just some poor DIY attempt.
Congratulations once more.

Never in a million years I would be able to come up with such an idea.

I actually like the gritty surface -- it adds to the overall feeling of the shot. A clean black surface doesn't really fit.

Congrats again! Art's right -- we need a rubber stamp. :)

Yep, that pretty much sums you up, Christophe - a big wild rogue being tamed by a bunch of straight (and some slightly bent) inferior beings :-) Great work, congrats on the yellow! :-)

Even if you're not completely happy with this - I think it's perfect. Great shot, Christophe.

OK Christophe, it's time to admit that your real identity is that of a super hero, I'm thinking The Amazing Captain Photo

Amazing creation. I can imagine this as a sculpture in a museum. Title is perfect also.

Christophe for sure, I'm guessing this is the political climate in Europe at the moment, something radical needs to change, and indeed it will. Ribbon for sure.

I think this is the only shot in the whole challenge that made any sense to me and was fun to view. But not voting.

Fantastic! I smell a ribbon, or at least top 10. I don't know why, but the lighting, detail and execution smacks of gyaban. And if it's not, consider that the highest possible compliment. Of course, if it IS Christophe, don't let it go to your head :-)

Simple and well executed, no pun intended! Nice lighting as well. I definitely wouldn't call this a "still" life, but I'm not splitting hairs! :-D

This is absolutely priceless. Even without the title I had a full appreciation of the message you were trying to convey. This is by far my highest scoring image and will remain that way... you can't score any higher. Very well done indeed.
