 I had an entry called "Sunset Reflections" that I wanted to improve upon. What I did different in this shot was I used a Singh-Ray Vari-ND neutral density filter to increase my exposure time so I could achieve that soft and smooth effect in the clouds. I wanted no ripples in the water either so the ND filter took care of that too. I also wanted to include some foreground elements in my photograph to make it a little more interesting. Also, instead of warm colors I went with cool colors (very early in the morning).

It's weird how that foreground cloud looks like a blur tool gone bad. LOL!

I really love the oversaturated colors.

Assuming this is beaflies the sky and low clouds adds more than the original image. The original was very good to begin with but I do prefer this shot.

Gorgeous scene with great framing. That low hanging cloud does get in the way, but at the same time it adds a lot of interest.

Gorgeous long exposure! I always love the effect it has on the clouds. The colors here are gorgeous also. The multitude of shades of blue is so delightful! I also love the reflections in the water. The long streaks always remind me of watching Bob Ross's joy of painting. The peace in those paintings reminds me of the peace in this photograph. I like your framing with the evergreens, but I think it might be a bit too much on the right side of the image. That one tree is obstructing a beautiful mountain peak. I think the framing on the left side is a little more appropriate to highlight the beautiful mountains.

Beautiful shot. Icy tones and colors, and the detail in the pebbles has to be seen to be believed. The low cloud adds a graceful motion to it as well. Excellent.

Already voted, back to comment. I don't know exactly which photo this is a retake of, but I really like this pic. I love the motion in the clouds and the brightness of the blues.
