Back to comment. Lots to like here, great idea, great spinning top and circles of light. It meets the challenge. On the other hand, I find it rather busy with the fence and tree cutting me off from what is most interesting rather than adding to the image. Also, a small but "nagging" issue for me, I find the girl's white sandals distracting because my eye keeps getting drawn back there. On further reflection.. this nicely captures a child's wonder with the spinning carousel, and the fence acts to provide the feeling of a child being on "the outside" looking "in" at where all the fun is going on. Perhaps a title to reflect that would have helped me appreciate the photo more immediately but I don't know, it's just a thought. I'm glad I took to time to explore it further.

It's nice...imho it's better if cropped focusing more to the little girl and the carousel.

If only you'd come in closer to the carousel it would have been a cooler effect. The foreground fence, tree, & sidewalk take away a lot from the photo. Clearly meets the challenge.

This is just great, the shifting position of the waiting girl in the foreground makes the image go from good to very good.

Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 10
Perfect light trails and sharp stationary objects show a tripod had to be used.

A good subject for this challenge. I'm not a huge fan of the ghosted girl.

Obvious tripod use: High.

Bryant Park? I am guessing that this is PennyStreet's photo.

IMO this would have been a slightly stronger images if the little girl wasn't blurred in the foreground. She detracts a little from the carousel.
