The colors on this one are great. Can't tell if it's a tripod or not, but I do like it.

I really like the separation of the background and foreground. Some may prefer a smoother out of focus area, but I think it provides extra character to the photo.

Obvious tripod use: Low. I spent a good chunk of time looking at this photo and trying to determine how a tripod was essential to the shot, but I couldn't see that at all.

lovely image - but i am not sure it is obvious that you need a tripod to take a shallow DOF image

Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 2
There's nothing here that tells me that this couldn't have been shot handheld.

Nice shot, but it's not obvious (to me at least) that a tripod was required to capture it.
