I found the bottle about 40 feet from where I parked at work one morning (hence no cap). I stuck it in the sand right where the waves were lapping up. Long exposure while I light painted a bit with a tiny LED flashlight. I was pretty happy with the outcome.

Very happy to crack into the top ten. I did not think this would make it with a number of cool shots. Thanks for the nice comments.

Underrated! I don't think it matters about the cap, the smoothness of the water, and coolness of the image makes up for it.

This is a beautiful- creamy blue shot. With the subject only filling up the middle 1/5 th of the image, I can't help but feel like a tighter crop would make a stronger statement. While this is pretty to look at, this doesn't really make me want to drink Absolut. It's not outstanding for me..

I can't explain what I like about this so much, but it's definitely what of my most highly rated. I love it.

A bit of smoothing would have helped this, I think... especially the left of the bottle. But, I love the composition.

I may or may not be voting, so please do not equate my comment with any score.

Delightful color gradient - goes well with the title. Love the minimalistic concept as well. I would've probably liked it even more if there was more negative space and the bottle were not in the center.

I like this photo. Your use of negative space is excellent and I love the slight shades of blue that really enrich that space. I also have to say the lighter grays that surround the bottle really provide a nice highlight. I don't like how the bottle is tending to point my eyes out of the image. I wish it was placed on the right side of the frame with some nice buffer negative space on the left. Also maybe lower in the frame, this image is very center-composed. Going back to the shades of blue: I love the effect the upper half of the image has. It almost feels like clouds. It's as though the image shifts from sea to sky.

Pretty colors... Since the bottle has no cap, I think it'd look cool if you had a message inside the bottle :D

Please let us know how to achieve this silky smooth water effect so one day I can take an image like this. 10 and a ribbon.
