Best Father's day ever. My youngest learned to ride a two wheeler. His older brother did it exactly 2 years earlier.

I wanted a shot that represented him earning some new freedom. A two wheeler represents freedom to travel and explore a larger world. The path is life and it leads to a house and car and a typical neighborhood.

PP: some dodge and burn to mellow out some harsh mid-day sun. Cloned out some power lines and poles and a tree growing out of his head.

Thank you very much for the kind words and the score. I really appreciate your work on this site and I am flattered by your comments. I hope my skills improve to your level.

I felt this shot had all the elements of a good story. From the foreground, to the sidewalk leading to my son on the bike, to the house and car in the background. I love this shot for many reasons and it will be framed and displayed proudly in the house.
