Ah, the old butchers' apostrophe, I'm not sure if it should really be vicar's or vicars' or even just vicars... I took the placing of the apostrophe from the Wells Cathedral literature and hope they got it right, because I don't really have a clue.

Thanks for the comments and votes, this is a new personal best for me in both score and finishing position, (I also made it onto the 550D high scores page which is a first for me too) so now I have to aim even higher!

Just saw this now, quite a wonderful image!! The processing on this is perfect for the image, exceptionally dark and moody. Especially appreciate the toning as opposed to straight B&W. Very nice!

If I had to be critical I'd say it looks just a little dark, but that could be my monitor. All in all tho, a great shot that is enhanced by the sepia, rather than looking like and afterthought just to meet the challenge. Front page? Oh, and at the risk of being pedantic, should it be Vicar's Close?
