I ended up finding, a new Osprey location one day. Yes, google can be a great resource! I arrived and starting shooting. Ten minutes later, a suv slowly pulled up. The guy was very nice, just seeing how the shoot was going. He then asked ,If I knew about the other spot. I answered with a No? He said to follow him, he'd take me their. So off I followed. It ended up being fantastic. A pair have settled on a hydro pole. Quite low, for this type of nest. Best of all, the light angle and birds flight pattern, were excellent. I can't wait to reshoot again. This time, a little later in the day. Possibly with a reflector, lighting the nest area. Should be great!

Image was cropped and very little pp adjustment. Some sticks from the nest, were removed from the scene. Converted to jpeg for dpc

And I see it was a 4000th! Man that should be fast enough? It's pretty sharp, yet the crop and jpg compression maybe reduced a bit of the sharpness the original would have had?

Lovely shot, great focus but slightly faster shutter speed would have made it a 10, perfect sky, good title. Wildlife story. I feel it has been cropped quite a bit. Worthy of NG? Due to the technical difficulty and presentation, I think so. Also a possible vawendy?

Wendy. Lovely capture. The signature blue and the great focus are ... inspiring.

I may or may not be voting, so please do not equate my comment with any score.
