A warbling vireo incubates eggs on a well built nest in the fork of the adler bush.

I expect this image to score below 4, due to all the participants who took the challenge to mean "silverware". The vireo nest in the fork of the bush is my concept and absolutely just as valid and much more interesting (to me).

During most of the voting, the score was in the low 3s. That's pretty low for an okay image which clearly meets the challenge. But, I guess the fork in the branches is obscure to many people. I'm really surprised.

I didn't vote on this because I'm not sure if I'm missing something !

Edit: Now that I see the description about the fork in the tree, I'm glad I didn't vote. Had the fork been easily defined, I likely would have given this a 5 or so.

A fork in the tree, I get it. But will the voters? By bitter experience I doubt this will take honours. Are you doing a DPC experiment? A good representative shot, showing the bird in it's natural environs, albeit a bit soft. Yes DPC has tainted me into believing everything here should be PP to hell and gone.

Looking for a spoon, knife or fork...It's very well hidden if present. Probably I'm missing the point due to not being English-speaking.

Forks in the branches I presume. I like the idea of peeping through, rather than a full on birds nest (I always worry that the photographer has disturbed the nest and the parents won't return).

uhhh... golly.

I hate to admit my ignorance... but everyone knows it already anyway, so I'll ask...

Where is the knife, fork, or spoon?

I'm hoping it's the "fork" in the tree... but it's not obvious... *sigh*

I may or may not be voting, so please do not equate my comment with any score.
