it is rather surreal, isn't it. No wonder I liked it so much. I like the semi-sweeping lines... and the grate. I find the exif amazing.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Amazing - I wonder if this is a jagar. The clarity of the buildings down the street is just wonderful, as are the textures of the cobbles. Then there is the figure - what is really special is how the bottom of her dress/robe follows exactly the line of the shadow - it pulled me forward in my seat to try to discern where she began and the shadow finished.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall: Very, very strong work.

I like how she seems to emerge from the backdrop of buildings -- her figure seemingly peeling off of the wall behind her. Surreal.
