Just a fantastic shot. The more I look, the more I like, it reverberates with warm contrast. I gave you a nine in the challenge. I like the vignetting, also.

lucky you, it does appear to be a great event... strange and wonderful image, like a still from an old silent movie

Didn't vote or look at this challenge, so no vote from me, but heck, this is an absolutely wonderful image. Don't care if it fit the challenge or not.

Nice thinking out of the box

Not sure what to do with this one. On one hand I love the image. Peculiar and pleasingly odd. On the other, even with a broad and liberal view of fireworks I am not getting it, even with the title. So I am going to pass on voting on this one. In a FS or different challenge where it wasn't so much of a DNMC I would score this well. But I hate to give it a DNMC vote here because I like it. So no vote. Curious to see your details and hoping you have shared your vision for the image.

This is such a cool shot, love it! Hopefully, it does well in a challenge called "Fireworks V", but I still love it!

LOL! Awesome image in totally the wrong challenge. I like OOB thinking, but this is just in a completely different warehouse :-)

It reminds me of a still from one of those old Soviet b/w exercise shows.

I don't get it. DNMC.

Yes, it's shoehorn, but one of the best. I cannot give you a 10 since it's pretty well DNMC, but here's a 9 because I love the image.

Nice out of the box thinking and highly original, however the drab sepia tone and the fact that I had to actually THINK (gasp!) about it, does not overcome my expectation to see pretty shiny explosions... I can't really mark it "Down" because it is Technically fine, and well within the challenge topic, but it has no "WOW" aspect to it either, so I will leave it at five. Please continue with out of the box style entries though, I usually like them!

This would be a great shot in any challenge; a classic with or without fireworks.

This confused me at first but makes sense now
