Rod, I gave this shot a 9. I was both impressed by the photo and work behind it, very valuable. I hope you do find a cure and get a huge medal for it! (Would this put you in the running for a Nobel?) I like the transparency in front, places the chemical compounds on the microscope. Very creative and ties the two together nicely. The syringe in front might be a little "over the top", but does add a good opposing color releif, so it does have it's benefits.
Sorry I didn't comment this during the challenge week. I try to comment from the bottom up (this is a learning site, right?), so it's often a Martha Stewart "good thing" to not get a comment from me!

I like this shot. The cell or whatever it is in front of the microscope is great.

Soon...I hope. Good luck!

I have several thoughts on this one. Both items should, in my opinion, either be behind the chart or infront of it. Too distracting as it is. I know what a syringe looks like and want to see the machine unobstructed. And would like to have seen more of the machine. Like the chart, it is really neat and unique, but as placed is too distracting. Good idea just needs better execution, I feel. Good focus and good subject. As is I give it a 5. PTL

Very cool shot. I think i might prefer the transparency be either perfectly straight or more skewed. Nice job :)

Cool effect with the molecular strucures. I like it.

Well done, sad that the yellow background is not homogeneous.
BTW: why is a single Carboxylate group a new gene?
