 woohoo! broke a 6! Thank you for the nice comments and support. What an incredible field of work in this challenge, so many talented photographers.

I used a TC200 on my old faithful 55mm and then I must confess to a little trickery; I misted this little guy and he would rub the water droplets off with his front legs and down his proboscis "thingy". It was still a bit of magic to catch it at the end before it fell off.

That droplet on the end of it's thingy - what a great punctuation mark for the image! Love it!

Neat shot! How unusual to see that drop on it's proboscis.. Looks like it will have a very nice image of the flower behind it at full size.
